Piano arrangements of this piece are attributed to Francis Johnson, while the band arrangement found in the Grierson Collection is attributed to Johnson’s ophicleide player and fellow prolific composer/arranger, A.J.R. Conner [Connor].
This arrangement has been adjusted from the original instrumentation found in the Grierson Collection to better fit a Civil War-era brass band.
Substitute parts and minor adjustments can be made upon request.
